November 7th meeting rules change proposal

I have submitted the following rules change. But I'm willing to put it out there for input as well rather than spring it on everyone at the meeting.

Proposal: Expand 'out of class' rule.

Reason: To prevent competitors from exploiting the rule to secure a competitive advantage by establishing a timeline.

Well the 2010 rule book is out and it looks like I won't be racing this year. According to a new rule my in progress quad build is now illegal to race. Along with the CHCA race schedule for next year looking as bleak as it does I think i'm gonna retire and take up fishing.

New race road TV watching

Here is what I spent time earlier this year looking at a road in NM. The road would have been a true thrill to run! When I spoke with them they were interested but it was needing to be very soon so not to conflict with lot purchases. The idea of putting it on the 2010 schedule did not go well. And combined with the intent of the property (peace and tranquility) the owners were less than enthused.

This came in today however and if you have Sat TV you might want to check it out.

we MUST streamline the meetings. ALL ideas for the agenda will be submitted in advance. All will be alloted 10 min TOTAL..5 for PRO 5 for CON..IF no decision that ISSUE will move to the agenda for more disc at the next meeting. 10 minutes will be alloted for reading of old minutes and Trudys report etc. AND the last 15 minutes will be for OPEN discussion..any issue will be put on the NEXT agenda. We will KNOW how long the meeting will last in advance. this will cut down on the endless babble...

there is a meeting on nov 7th A SATURDAY......which makes tons more sense then wed nites..THATS just me cause i get up so early... anyhow..its at a church and should be posted soon??? I believe??? its a rule meeting?? etc?? am i correct on this???

98 a-arm frame- Headlight mounts need some work, right rear fender mount needs to be welded back on, could use a good cleaning and paint. $100

Complete bottom end- seized crank, everything is there, kicker, shifter, clutch, stator, covers, even lower motor mounts. Shifts good through all gears. $450

Cases- Unwacked, have some scaring in one side from a crank failure that has been smoothed out. $140

Cases- Bad shape, wacked along with some deep crank failure...

I no longer have the time to race, with you guys, it was fun, real fun, but, building another new buisness requires me, to no longer have any spare time! So the roller will run around 2500, included a 9in with 5.14 spooled RR, some spare tires and wheels! For 5g's I'll throw in the T-10, 355 combo! I have more than that invested!

New Super Sprint rules for 2010

Aside from the rule for a full 'fire wall' (i.e water wall) for those cars with an above the head radiator (a rule I'd agree to despite the fact that a rad has no place there) the big news appears to be the "Weight Penalty of 2010".....for the next year all SS cars must weigh in at 8lbs per ci displacement. From Ted's call the vote in favor was about 8 to 3.

Thoughts?

Vote Ted Markovich for President and Steve Bennett for vice president.... we will woop this into shape. We will also have extra recess, and deserts at lunch....that was my slogan in school.. We have talked about this in depth..and we feel that if we all limit the friggin booze , we can get these meetings done at a reasonable time EVERY time. and have MORE clarity as far as what we need to do. We want ALL discussion to be sent in IN...

I have a Firesense Response 4.0 liter fire system I HAD to buy for the Mazda , as The Ques BBQ allowed the $$ to be STOLEN,,,AND as the MAZDA DID NOT GET DONE...I need to sell the system it is ELECTRIC with several diff nozzles etc.. it is a FOAM bath type?? im not familiar with em?? but it cost me 400 ..thats what id like to get for it. We were gonna put it on the Camaro...But we are goin Halon... Its new on 4 of 09..and says service date is 4-2-2011...ready to go and I WILL SHIP NO CHARGE....
